The PODER Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated K-6 classroom Teacher. The employee will be a part of a winning team and utilize a successful model that calls for hard work, long hours, intense focus, and determination. The job of the K-6 classroom Teacher is to provide support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibilities for supervising students, deliver small group instruction consistent with teacher expectation regarding reading and language arts, and mathematics instruction.Qualifications
- Wyoming State Department of Education certification appropriate for subject and grade level or both as required
- BA or BS degree
- Must be Highly Qualified Status
- Must be endorsed as an Elementary Teacher K-6 in the state of WY
- Able to pass a background check
- Passion for teaching diverse and free/reduced lunch students
- Willingness to work hard and put in long hours – must be flexible
- Experience working with K-6 grade and/or experience working with diverse students
- Be a team player
- Multiple Certifications/Endorsements a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
