- Model Development: Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and algorithms for forecasting financial trends, assessing risk, and optimizing investment strategies.
- Predictive Analytics: Develop and continuously refine models for financial forecasting, risk assessment, and portfolio optimization based on new data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with finance staff, IT managers, software developers, and business analysts to seamlessly integrate data science solutions into finance software and decision-making processes.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science and technology to propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all data analysis, governance, and modeling activities adhere to relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualizations to effectively communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for senior management.
- 5-10 years proven work experience in the data science and analytics/visualizations space.
- Must be ready for a hands-on managerial role. Experience building and managing a small team is desired.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical analysis, financial data, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated organizational, strong analytical and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex finding to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field(s) is required (Master's Degree or pursuing a Master's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CAP, or relevant data science certifications are advantageous.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
