Responsible for accurately receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, this role ensures that all received items match the associated documentation and meet quality standards. Additionally, duties may encompass conducting inventory control activities such as cycle counts, data entry, report generation, and reconciliation.Responsibilities:Verify accuracy of merchandise quantity, condition, and quality against Purchase Orders.Receive orders against P.O.s, input information into inventory system and put stock away in warehouse.Manage inventory of product stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy.Update computer system with appropriate information and notes concerning received merchandise.Make timely & accurate system updates.In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.Minimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma/GEDExperience: None required.Licensure: Valid driver’s license with a positive point balance. Ability to safely drive a large box truck with lift gate.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with and ability to interpret packing slips.Ability to correctly enter information in computer to acknowledge receipt of the goods from the purchase order/transfer order.Ability to verify all vendor item numbers and retails are accurate in inventory system.Efficiently operate computers and proprietary software systemsMicrosoft Outlook and Word. Excel experience is a plus.Proficient typing skills, a plusPhysical Demands:Position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.Requires heavy lifting (up to 60lbs)This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.Anticipated Hiring Range: $15.00 - $23.00 hourly, commensurate with education and experience.
