We invite you to apply to be a part of our University community!Job DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to provide accounting functions to the finance department. This includes document review and processing, assisting with training, and providing back up functions for the accounts payable manager.Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve Direct Pay Forms in Jaggaer and DocuSign
  • Review check reissue forms and provide GL detail to Ap for processing
  • Post GL corrections (Journal Vouchers)
  • Review, monitor and pass pcard transactions from BofA Works system to Banner.
  • Reconcile travel card transactions between Banner and Chrome River
  • Reconcile Ghost Cards in Jaggaer
  • Perform system administrator duties in Jaggaer system
  • Jaggaer training and technical support for departments on campus
  • Process department interdepartmental Passes
  • Agency/CWSP/IF and UofI Billings
  • Website Development/maintenance within CMS and google sites
  • Develop Employee onboarding and training
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, financial system administration, or a similar role
  • Proficient in financial management systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with staff at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jaggaer, Banner, and ERP systems
  • 5 years of experience in Higher Education
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website development tools
  • Demonstrated experience in training and development

Salary will be between $55,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
