Description:
Duties: Responsibility, Inventory, Supplies, Equipment needs. Meet Vendor/Contractors, investigate/determine sources, types of material/supplies and methods preparing specifications for ordering products. Evaluate, bids/request requisitions, recommendations to Purchasing Div. Monitor/Evaluate product usage, future needs, maintain necessary supply levels, review received inventory, accountability is a priority. Document Receiving/Purchase orders in computer, to include manual backup (all Inventory). Verse in Record Keeping, Reports, Equipment i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, front end loaders, other related equipment. Assist Internal Auditors annual city audit.Qualifications: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12) grade supplemented by specialized training in purchasing, inventory control or a related field. Three years of responsible purchasing inventory control experience.
