- Provide technical support to internal staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment
- Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Ensure a seamless experience for onboarding and offboarding new hires
- Act as a point of contact for external vendors and service providers, research and provide solutions for new vendors when necessary
- Manage business system backups and perform data recovery when necessary
- Stay up to date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for system improvements
- Deeply understand SOC2 compliance requirements, enforcing company-wide adherence to security policies and audit processes
- Develop and lead internal training efforts that support HIPAA compliance, cybersecurity best practices, and protection of PHI
- Assist with the tracking of vulnerabilities
- Revise and write security policies as needed
- Manage ECP’s IT inventory using mobile device management software
- Ensure ECP is up-to-date with HIPAA compliance and drive the company’s cybersecurity strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or related roles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience with network administration and security
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate efficiently with personnel in diverse roles ranging from technical to non-technical
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus
