- Develop and mentor a team of high-quality staff.
- Deliver a comprehensive range of tax services in full compliance with laws and regulations within specified timeframes.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering expert planning and consulting.
- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Coordinate the efforts of the accounting staff and assess their performance.
- Manage the tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Enhance processes by developing and implementing best practices.
- Oversee and coordinate tax audits.
- Maintain accurate tax balances on the general ledger.
- Regularly prepare all necessary tax documents and handle all information and data requests.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Five to eight years of Public Accounting experience.
- Active state Certified Public Accountant license or equivalent recognized by the firm (e.g., Chartered Professional Accountant) required.
