- Conduct research activities for moderately complex problems within the Global Research Team using multiple instrumentation including LC-MS.
- Implement own research activities within Waters Research
- Execute systematic test measurements with prototypes and available instrumentation
- Be responsible for the daily use of instruments in our Immerse laboratory
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawing conclusions based on strong data analysis, contribute to patent applications, and provide internal and external presentations to summarize scientific findings
- Provide technical support, share development ideas, contribute to our global research portfolio and assist effective research planning
- Provide technical support to external collaborators where applicable
- Stay up-to-date in scientific literature for specific area of specialization
- Establish procedures and work effectively with cross-functional project teams including scientists, biologists, and engineers
- Perform other duties in a professional manner as deemed necessary by the organization
- M.S./B.S. in Bioanalytical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline
- Strong analytical and instrumental skills
- Proficiency with basic analytical laboratory procedures and workflows
- Mechanical hardware capability
- Computer skills, software configuration desirable
- Ability to contribute to scientific publications through data generation and refinement of experimental results
- Innovative mindset and agility to foster new and diverse ideas
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication, analysis and decision skills
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills in English
