AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Engineering Technician COMSEC/RF to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The salary range of this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00, and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.About the location:

- A TEMPEST technician on average will assist with multiple tests per year with some travel required.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel
- The selected candidate will work directly with TEMPEST project leads, conducting system level TEMPEST testing and provide technical data for TEMPEST test reports on US Navy aircraft and other DOD and Government systems as assigned.
- HS diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant work experience
- Applies engineering technology and techniques to perform TEMPEST or MIL-STD-461 testing to verify radiated and conducted electromagnetic compliance of aircraft or other electronic systems or subsystems.
- Executes electromagnetic interference (EMI) and/or TEMPEST test plans, provides data for test reports and other technical documentation.
- Applies electromagnetic interference experience to document and solve complex problems.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance

The physical environment requires the employee to stand, walk and/or move throughout the workday, often bending over and picking up items less than 50 lbs. and/or operating machinery to assist in the movement of heavy objects such as forklifts and dollies. This position may also require driving government vehicles.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
