Restaurant servers’ responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages.240 West is positioned as a locally sourced, handcrafted cuisine in a rustic atmosphere. Our Executive chef works with local growers and producers to bring quality and sustainable ingredients to your table. Our rustic atmosphere is influenced by wine country, with reclaimed wood beams, rich fabrics and a large stone fireplace.Servers Role:
Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant or deliver to room in a prompt and courteous manner
Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests
Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
Work collaboratively with other servers, bussers, hostesses, kitchen and bar staff
Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
Someone who can regularly lift 25 pounds
Your Environment:Controlled indoor temperatures, could experience high temperatures and high humidity when outdoor serving for our outlets and events. Varied volume levels based on capacity of outlet or event and entertainment schedule. Standing and walking on hard surface tile flooring, possibility for wet floors, grass, pool deck and carpet - non-slip shoes a must!QualificationsWhat are we looking for?We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Servers to join our team! He or she must be able communicate effectively with the team and together work to provide an excellent experience for our guests. The right person will be show excellent customer service skills, must be passionate about service and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers.
Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
Someone who is descriptive and can upsell the dining experience
Someone with 2-4 years of food service experience preferred
Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests

Someone with a strong attention to detail
Someone with a flexible schedule that allows them to work weekends and holidays
