Come work with us and let's build something great together!Military experience is a plus.This is not a teleworking position.S3, Inc. has an immediate need for a Business Operations Software Tool Developer to join our IT team at our headquarters in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.Description:The Software Tool Developer develops software tools that augment data processes for Business Operations In-House HR and Training for employee data tracking and processing. The developer also maintains websites for multiple business subsidiaries. Must maintain Continuous Improvements (CI) for the software products collected, designed, implemented, tested, and documented by the Software Tool Developer.Responsibilities:
  • Determine CI requirements from the in-house users of the software tools.
  • Implement [code] requirements into the existing software tool products.
  • Test the codes and improve where test data indicates.
  • Maintain websites for multiple subsidiaries within the corporation.
  • Document for improvements in the code documentation and its use in the user manual.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in MIS, CS, Math, Engineering with GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Five years’ experience in software tool development in C#, SQL, ASP.NET.
  • Three years’ experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, SharePoint, jQuery, AJAX, XSLT, JSON, HTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries should be documented in the resume.
  • Three years’ experience in developing requirements for software products and implementing those requirements through the lifecycle process for software development.
  • Three years’ experience in configuration management of software products and associated user manuals.
  • Two years’ experience maintaining websites.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred.
