Connecticut Educator certification (or pending): 015 7-12 English, 215 English Middle Grades 4-8 or 305 Elementary, 1–6 (must be highly qualified in English/Language Arts). Remedial reading and Literacy Coaching certified #102 is preferred. Salary range can be found on our website at www.plainvilleschools.org.1. Experienced in Readers and Writers Workshop
2. Experienced in reading and writing interventions and targeted small group learning
3. Experienced in wide-range of reading assessments including curriculum assessments, diagnostic reading assessments, progress monitoring, and universal screening assessments
4. Demonstrated success in student performance, determined by but not limited to, standardized assessments (Smarter Balance), and other assessment measures
5. Knowledge of current literacy research and active with ongoing professional development in the field of literacyApplication Procedure:
