- Proficient evaluation of incoming inquiries and assessments of customer requirements
- Efficient and accurate thermal analysis and mechanical design execution
- Provide interpretation and clarification on thermal and mechanical analysis
- Ability to review and address basic and complex customer specifications
- Formulate a technical and commercial proposal package in alignment with customer specifications, industry standards, and company standards
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization of heat transfer solutions
- Evaluate heat exchanger designs and heat transfer surface concepts using known analytical and experimental methods
- Collaborate with and appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SME) to solve engineering and design scenarios and support on heat transfer engineering efforts
- Partner with customers and internal functional groups on safety integration
- Coordinate legal review of contracts with BDM and legal counsel
- Detailed review of contract commercial, freight, and payment information to ensure all deliverables are attainable
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of industry experience preferred
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of industry experience preferred
- 2 years of experience with thermal design, rating, and performance analysis preferred
- 2 years’ experience in Oil and Natural Gas Industry preferred
- 2 years continuous improvement experience preferred
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, Division 1, TEMA and API 661 Standards preferred
- Exceptional and seasoned customer service experience preferred
- 6+ years’ experience in industry
- 3+ years’ experience with thermal rating
- 3+ years continuous improvement experience
- 3+ years Oil and Gas experience
- Extensive knowledge of air-cooled heat exchangers
- Experience using HTRI, HTFS, or any other qualified Air-Cooled Heat Exchanger ratings program
