- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continue engaging donors in supporting Camp Chief Ouray scholarships; steward those donors with data and stories on the results of their investment.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of Colorado-based Camp Chief Ouray donors and engage them in camp capital projects, planned and endowment giving, gifts of $25,000 and up.
- Establish and grow a Camp Chief Ouray alumni program.
- Plan and implement Camp Chief Ouray donor focused events – Campfire Circle, alumni gatherings, etc.
- Help create a philanthropic culture that is focused on relationship building and provides opportunities for Camp Chief Ouray and the entire Association to become involved with and engaged in the advancement of our mission.
- Maintain a successful donor cultivation process proficiently tracking gifts, relationships and moves management in donor database - Raisers Edge; and understand how the camp database – Camp Minder - supports this process.
- Possess a valid, USA state-issued driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.
- Possess stamina to work in the work environment described herein.
- One to three years of successful experience in fundraising.
- Demonstrated ability to:

- Work independently
- Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a team and handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects.

- Must meet acceptable criminal background check standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Travel on a regular basis is required; evening responsibilities are frequent and sometimes weekends too.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.
