- Provides for beautiful and pleasant surroundings in the yards; maintains beautiful and well-kept grounds to create a professional looking hospital/nursing home appearance.
- Helps wherever needed and paints when time permits.
- Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
- Supports the vision, mission, and philosophy statements of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.
- Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One to three months related experience and/or training. Knowledge in basic lawn care and painting preferred.
- 0-6 months of experience is required.
- 6 months-1 year of experience is preferred.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license, and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
