- Greets each guest and educates them on course conditions, course rules and policies, and pace of play
- Maintains communications from the first tee with golf shop, cart staff and ranger
- Monitors first tee, tee off times, turn times and finish times; reporting irregularities and misuse of equipment and property
- Ensures equipment is stored properly and safety practices are enforced
- Clean and properly stage golf carts to ensure excellent presentation and consistency.
- Possess excellent verbal communication and people relations skills
- Must possess strong customer service skills and remain calm and work effectively in stressful situations
- Must possess a general understanding of pace of play, golf terminology and rules
- Able to remain in stationary position for minimum of two hours
