  • Perform LC-MS/MS SOPs, interpret QC performance results, and troubleshoot/resolve analytical issues.
  • Assist and/or lead development of new methods/SOPs for LC-MS/MS analyte detection.
  • Prepare detailed laboratory notebooks and data result outputs.
  • Perform routine maintenance of LC-MS/MS instruments.
  • Prepare assay result summaries and present to the teams in weekly meetings and contribute to dissemination of information in scientific conferences and publications.
  • Be an accountable analytical lead in developing novel assays for quantifying complex membrane lipid synthesis/turnover and for assessing cellular bioenergetics that are critical for neuronal and glial cell function.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • PhD in targeted and untargeted metabolomics and lipidomics or related scientific discipline required (or MS with 3+ years / BS with 5+ years of related industry or academic experience).
  • Excellent critical thinking and scientific skills with strong fundamental backgrounds in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques.
  • Experience in multi-omics data integration, interpretation, and visualization using r and/or python programming languages.
  • Authored at least one first authored peer-reviewed publication in a top tier research journal.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively on cross-functional project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, interpret, and clearly communicate complex data and results through oral and written presentations.
Salary Range: $123,000.00 - $158,000.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
