Assembler BThe Assembler performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.*** ASSEMBLER CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 1ST, 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT, THERE IS NO GUARENTEE THEY WILL STAY ON THE SAME SHIFT AND REQUESTING SHIFTS IS NOT AN OPTION. THEY MAY BE ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT DURING TRAINING THAN THEIR NORMAL***Job Requirements:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).Winter graduates of aeronautical programs (PIA, Embry Riddle, etc) will be considered and selected candidates will be scheduled to start after graduation date.Ability to adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulation.
Carrying/Lifting up to 10-35 pounds.
Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.
Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), Handling, Kneeling, Bending at the waist, Reaching (overhead), Rotation of head/neck, Standing, Twisting at the waist and walking.
Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting),
Capable of drilling, reaming, filling, removing and installing fasteners, Shimming, accurately measuring, and documenting data.Experience with aircraft structural parts fabrication, assembly processes and procedures.
Experience with conventional lathe, milling, precision measuring, power, pneumatic and hand tools. Use of high impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting).Must be proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, etc.Experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
Must have demonstrated strong effective communication, work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned task/work.1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.Must be able to work variable shifts - 1st, 2nd 3rd.Must present a valid, unexpired photo ID and an original document that provides proof of US Person Status (per ECCVF) at time of badging to obtain badge.To view a full list of our open positions, go to https://dunhillstaff.com/jobs-2/.#LI-BP1
