- have a basic knowledge of employment and discrimination laws;
- possess HR credentials such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP; a plus;
- have an HR Generalist background;
- provide HR counsel to local management team in accordance with the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement;
- assist in conducting complex conflict resolutions between employees and overseeing the administration of performance and behavioral management tools;
- have a basic knowledge of employment and discrimination laws;
- act as a customer service representative, addressing employee's inquiries and issues;
- possess strong time management and organizational skills;
- have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed;
- manage all HR Representative, Employee and Management inquiries in a timely manner; and
- act as a customer service representative, addressing employee's inquiries and issues.
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
