Compensation: $25 - $30 per hourResponsibilities:
  • Partner closely with technicians to meticulously craft comprehensive estimates post-vehicle teardown, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in every detail.
  • Enforce strict adherence to manufacturer repair protocols, upholding our commitment to delivering top-tier workmanship.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the parts department, swiftly resolving any supply chain or inventory hiccups to minimize disruptions in repair workflow.
  • Collaborate with production management to supervise and expedite repairs, prioritizing timely project completion without compromising on quality.
  • Conduct productive sessions with external field adjusters, finalizing repair plans to align seamlessly with customer preferences and expectations.
  • Coordinate with fellow estimators to streamline sublet work processes, establishing realistic timelines for project completion.
  • Execute additional tasks delegated by supervisors, contributing to the seamless functioning of our collision shop operations.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Service Writer or Estimator within the collision repair sector.
  • Proficiency in utilization of estimating software such as Audatex, CCC ONE, or Mitchell.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OEM repair procedures and industry benchmarks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with technicians, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail coupled with a commitment to precision in estimating tasks.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong organizational acumen, adept at managing concurrent projects efficiently.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and procurement processes.
  • Adaptability to emerging technologies and evolving repair methodologies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive repair or estimating is advantageous.
