Job SummaryThe Territory Manager is responsible for YOY gross profit dollar growth for the assigned territory by diversifying his/her territory across all product lines and across all market segments.Job Function
  • Play a key role in increasing income/revenue by managing/negotiating with clients through the sales process and selling value-added-services offered by the organization.
  • Develop and execute a regional strategy that supports the overall growth strategy of the organization.
  • Build higher, wider, and deeper relationships with active accounts insuring sustainable growth.
  • Ability to identify and develop growth opportunities within current (Active) and potential (Prospect) accounts
  • Supports sales campaigns and product/inventory initiatives
  • Ability to identify and interpret market trends
  • Penetrate and leverage internal and external resources
  • Ability to work and collaborate within a team
  • Ability to manage conflict resolutions
  • Responsible management of company expenses
  • Demonstrate product capabilities and product knowledge while offering solutions and alternatives best suited to the customer's business needs
  • Position Tubular Steel as a supplier of choice and last right of refusal
  • Exhibit professional and ethical behavior at all times
  • Network within local or regional associations related to manufacturing or tubular steel consumption
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years outside sales experience with a proven history of success.
  • Above average computer skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed within a defined and assigned geographic territory
