Coordinates all activities related to procurement, processing, inventory, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment for Perioperative Services. Provides Central Processing services for ancillary support areas as needed. Includes responsibility for CSPD staffing, training and personnel management.Qualifications: HSD or GED equivalent required. Three (3) years of CSPD experience required. Prefer graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or Certified Central Sterile Processing Tech. If not certified in Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing, certification must be obtained during the first 12 months of employment. Evidence of organizational ability, surgical instrumentation, knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control skills essential. Must be able to direct the activities of others, perform management responsibilities related to employees, and to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in a confined working area. Good interpersonal skills are essential to communications and the coordination of activities and responsibilities with other departments. Epic and Censitrac experience preferred.
