- Are at least 21 years old and hold the necessary credentials for a Childcare Director in Arkansas, which include a high school diploma or GED along with one of the following, a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, a bachelor’s degree in a non-related field with 4 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, or an associate degree with 6 years of experience.
