They help review shop drawings prepared by subcontractors and review them prior to submitting to architect or engineer for approval. They are typically responsible for detailing the purchasing requisitions for defining work that needs to be contracted.
- Writing all purchasing orders
- Processing and negotiating all change orders
- Having complete knowledge of contract documents
- Preparing monthly budget reports
- Publishing the details of Owner Architect Contractor meetings
- Obtaining building permits
- Coordinating work of all trades on paper prior to construction beginning
- 5+ years with relevant experience in construction
- Someone who is seeking growth within a company.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
- DSA and public works project experience preferred.
- Base salary $90,000-$110,000 DOE
