We are looking for mid-senior level Systems Engineers to join our team to provide program management support of DoD programs and projects.Responsibilities:
- Apply systems engineering processes to the analysis, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of TMPC mission planning software and technical documentation for the Tomahawk missile system for FMS programs.
- Coordinate closely with the Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) to ensure that software and technical documentation is appropriately sanitized and properly documented for FDO release approval to partner FMS countries.
- Engage with customers to collect input and feedback to improve and enhance Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC).
- Review, analyze, and document TMPC emerging requirements.
- Analyze the impact of changes to TMPC system requirements and interfaces.
- Participate in vendor technical interchange meetings and review vendor technical recommendations.
- Lead working groups to address engineering and technical challenges that require analysis of alternatives.
- Participate on change management and configuration management processes and review boards.
- Review vendor produced MBSE models, and contribute to MBSE descriptions of the system.
- Coordinate with test and evaluation activities for assessment of TMPC software.
- Conduct technical Risk Management and tracking.
- Provide technical input and review to project plans, project schedules, project roadmaps
- Support project planning and technical cost estimates.
- Author reports, briefs, provide progress reviews, and brief Senior NAVAIR Leadership on status, metrics, and technical analysis
- Assist with vendor tasking, guidance, and oversight in the development of technical SOWs, participation with TIMs, PMRs, and review of CDRLs.
- Participate in the development of strategies to apply Agile development practices to TMPC FMS.
- Participate in Agile software development processes including backlog grooming, backlog prioritization, sprint reviews, program increment reviews, and capability evaluation.
- Advise and assist NAVAIR executives, managers, and supervisors in the planning and implementation of systems engineering and digital engineering policy and guidance.
