Qualifications:Required:
  • Doctorate degree.
  • Over 2 years of Primary Care experience
  • ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine in NJ
Preferred:
  • Over 1 year of experience in ALL of the following:
  • Geriatric Care
  • Senior Care
  • Geriatric/LTC
  • NPI Number
Overview:Our client seeks a full-time Physician to provide high-quality care practices in treating symptoms and promoting the highest quality of life for homebound patients and their families in Essex County, NJ.The ideal candidate will be:
  • Licensed as a physician in New Jersey.
  • Education and experience in primary care settings
  • Geriatric experience
  • Board-certified in family practice or internal medicine
  • Hold an active CDS and DEA license.
The position offers medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, HSA/FSA, and PTO benefits.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers.
  • Provides direct medical services and consultation to primary care homebound patients within established productivity guidelines.
  • Monitors the patient’s condition and responsiveness to the treatment provided.
  • Maintains complete patient records using the Electronic Medical record and complies with all reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensures compliance with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Ambulatory Care Regulations for Licensure as well as requirements of other licensing and accrediting bodies, health maintenance organizations, and other insurance carriers.
  • Acts as an agency representative with patients and their families as well as with other health agencies, groups, and organizations
  • Collaborates in the provision of formal and informal education for staff.
  • Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies and guidelines of regulatory agencies.
  • Participates in community outreach programs when appropriate.
