Fabrication Production ClerkJob DescriptionSummary:This position is the production scheduler for the Fabrication department.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Communicates with suppliers and vendors to order product inventory.Schedules and tracks production materials and labor for efficiency purposes.Receives and verifies ordered parts and materials, approves vendor payments.Tracks inventory, provides oversight, and schedules physical inventory counts.Performs computer data entry regarding ordering, production, and billing invoices.Provides visual quality control checks & assistance of built parts daily.Schedules employee welding testing for Fab Shop candidates.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed.Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer service focus in a fast-paced work environment.Computer experience, especially with MS Office products-Excel, etc. neededForklift trucks experience helpful.Should possess ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and a self-starter.Must have willingness to learn products sold, customer service, policies, procedures, and about the trucking industry as a whole to meet customer needs.Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.Shift:Mon-Fri, Day Shift, Full TimeBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurances401k plan, with 4% employer matching upon meeting eligibility requirementsEmployer paid life insuranceVoluntary benefits-Supplemental life, cancer, accident, etc.PTO, 6 Paid HolidaysWorking Conditions:Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. May be required to lift to 50 lbs. by self, or team lift to 100 lbs. Will have long periods of sitting, and computer screen usage.
