- Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, training, and supervising IT staff.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through the implementation of appropriate security measures and best practices.
- Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to IT operations and data security.
- Serve as a point of contact for IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in IT management, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of IT domains, including systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Experience with IT project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to IT management and data security (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, GDPR).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
