Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervises pool work force. Maintains chemicals and pool facility.Must be responsible for all pool facilities and equipment and maintain the pools and pool shop.Must be able to keep records on equipment, supplies, and maintenance.Pool Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the pools are mechanically and chemically kept at health department standards during the absence of pool staff.Carries out a continuous effort to improve operations, and work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide continuous improvement and customer-driven service.Performs other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to operate or use tools, operate pool vacuums, handle and count money, lead and coordinate up to 30 staff.Minimum Educational and Training RequirementsMinimum of 18 years old. Be in high school, have graduated high school, or have GED. Know how to use a computer. Must have A Valid State Driver's License.Physical RequirementsThe work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, or walking. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will work early morning and late afternoons, lift heavy objects, when necessary, drive to each pool site and complete any minor maintenance work required.

  • Manual Dexterity - picking, pinching, typing, working with fingers rather than hand.
  • Mental Acuity - ability to make rational decisions through sound logic, deductive reasoning.
  • Pulling - use upper extremities to exert force, haul or tug.
  • Pushing - use upper extremities to press against objects with force, or thrust forward, downward, outward.
  • Reaching - extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Repetitive Motion - substantial movements of wrists, hands, fingers.
  • Speaking - expressing ideas with spoken word, convey detailed, important instructions accurately, concisely.
  • Standing - for sustained periods of time.
  • Stooping - bending body downward, forward at waist, with full motion of lower extremities and back.

  • Visual Acuity 1 - prepare, analyze data, transcribing, computer terminal, extensive reading.
  • Visual Acuity 2 - color, depth perception, field of vision.
  • Visual Acuity 3 - determine accuracy, neatness, observe facilities/structures.
  • Visual Acuity 4 - operate motor vehicles/heavy equipment.
