- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of government construction projects in the Bowie/DC area.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and company objectives.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with regulations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project records.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies relevant to commercial construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
- 3+ years experience
- T/S Clearance is a plus but not required
- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
