- M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Biomedical engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related degree
- 8+ years in software development and 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning. Experience in the medical device industry a plus.
- Understanding of statistical techniques and experience with various programming languages (Python, R, Java) for data science and machine learning.
- Broad expertise in machine learning frameworks (Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch) including design, implementation, and considerations for performance and scalability
- Understanding of AI technologies; excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in designing prompts for complex queries
- Experience with deep neural networks (CNN or other deep networks)
- Experience with medical imaging (MRI, CT, PET, etc.) and image segmentation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Proficiency in agile software development practices (Scrum, Kanban) to collaborate effectively with developers and engineers during production implementation of machine learning solutions
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently
- Prior experience with anatomy and physiology of cancer
- Prior coursework in Radiomics
