- Set up and perform a wide variety of silver brazing, heliarc, arc, automatic wire feed and gas welding operations.
- Work on standard or special production parts, short run items, fixtures or repair items, using a wide range of material types and thicknesses.
- Use jigs and fixtures or clamps to position parts to maintain dimensions, prevent distortion, by welding for mechanical strength and appearance.
- Regulate voltage and current, adjust gas pressure, select electrodes, welding rods and tips to meet a variety of conditions.
- Work from drawings, sketches, instructions and samples using calipers, rule and square.
- Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years Manufacturing or Production work experience.
- Bend, squat down, and reach above your head
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Lift and carry at least 25 pounds
- Work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced; multi-taksing environment and meet operational deadlines.
