The cashier is responsible for handling all transactions at the point of sale system and adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures.This role will pay an hourly wage of $14.For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. job expires 6/30/2024ResponsibilitiesEnters and processes all sales via cash, debit and credit card transaction using a cash register or other point of sale system in a retail environment with efficiency and accuracyBalance the cash register, making change, and recording purchasesServes customers in a friendly and efficiently mannerProvides excellent customer serviceAdheres to cash handling policies and proceduresMaintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, and managementKnow and understand the products being servedResponsible for cleaning, stocking and restocking of workstations and displaysEnsures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at the end of shift. Staff must check out with Direct Supervisor and/or management to ensure the concession stand meets cleanliness standardsKeep work area clean and stocked throughout shiftOther duties and tasks as assigned by managerQualificationsAbility to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event drive environment.Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.If not already certified, you must be willing to take Servsafe Alcohol training within 15 days of date of hire (at our expense).Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs.Ability to multi task in a fast paced environmentAbility to work independently and as a productive member of a teamCapable of working a flexible schedule and extended hours, including but not limited to working early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Schedule is event based and must be available for 90% of scheduled events, as well as some mandatory shifts.Must be able to work in a loud noise environment at timesMust be over 18 years old by date of hire.Proven ability to work well with all levels of managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrengthened by our Differences.
