- Minimum 3 years of experience in property, casualty, and worker's compensation insurance risk management and loss prevention functions, primarily focused on evaluating hazards and controls.
- Solid proficiency in hazard identification skills and safety controls in Property, General/Products Liability, Commercial Automobile & Worker's Compensation.
- Strong background and knowledge in Fire Protection and Property conservation is highly desired.
- Experience in upstream Oil & Gas industry preferred.
- Counseling and providing presentations to existing customers on a variety of insurance related topics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient customer interviewing techniques and technical report writing ability.
- Demonstrates strong & effective time management skills with the ability to function both independently and as an integral team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suites to include Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Safety & Health, Biology, Chemistry, similar degrees, or relative work experience in the risk control/loss control field.
- Possessing relevant professional designations or certifications such as ASP/CSP or ARM is highly desirable.
