- Install, troubleshoot, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturers
- Troubleshoot, configure, maintain DCS systems
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain 480v and 2300v motors including induction, synchronous, wound rotor, permanent magnet and DC
- Instillation, calibration, troubleshooting various manufacturers of analog and SMART instruments and analytical equipment
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain motor controls including electronic motor protection relays, sizing overloads and starter maintenance of various manufacturers
- Shop and field repair of final control elements such as pneumatic valves, electric valves, solenoid operated valves, calibration of pneumatic and SMART valve positioners
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches
- Install, program, troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems including associated communication such as DH+, mod-bus, Ethernet
- Read, interpret and red line wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, P&ID's and loop sheets
- Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
- Communicate with operators while troubleshooting electrical and instrument controls
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on routine and extended annual outages
- Maintain shops, load centers, DCS work areas to a 5S standard
- Other duties as assigned

- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Eligible for employment in the US
- Must have two (2) of the following:
- Four-years electrical apprenticeship
- Electrical degree certified from accredited college or trade school
- Two (2) or more years industrial EI maintenance experience
- Willing and capable of working all shifts
- Able to work in a team environment
- Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
- Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification.
- Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
- Respond to emergencies during off hours and weekends
- Wear required safety equipment/PPE
- Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection).
- Associate degree in a maintenance discipline.
- Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong math/physics understanding.
- Prior experience as a multi-skill mechanic.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and submit to random drug testing while employed;
- Successfully complete a pre-employment health assessment;
- Successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
