- Responsibilities will include after-hours and weekend availability as required during project related activity. Responsibilities include enforcing the processing operations workstation standards, maintaining a secure environment and the creation and enforcement of team policies, procedures and change requests.
- Endpoint Support for managing Guaranty Bank & Trust’s configuration management tools (Windows Group Policy\Desktop Management etc.)
- Creation of software distribution packages and scripts for customized software packages, utilizing configuration management software and other software tools.
- Management of the workstation patching environment utilizing deployment tools to ensure all workstations are current with the latest security updates provided by Microsoft and other 3rd party software.
- Management of the Mac Endpoint management solution
- Management of standard workstation images ensuring application functionality, consistency and all images maintain a high level of security and standardization dependent on software needs for different job roles at the bank.
- Maintain workstation integrity ensuring consistent software and operating system versioning
- Management of the Virtual desktop infrastructure environment
- Managing potentially unwanted application inventory utilizing workstation configuration management tools
- Management of workstation encryption services
- Provide guidance and recommendations for all workstation\laptop\mobile devices\tablets purchases and deployments
- Management of the MDM Platform
- Keeping Endpoint protection software up to date by installing updates and patches to Anti-Virus and MDR solutions used and verifying all endpoints are protected.
- Create and schedule reports for management utilizing various tools
- Keep firmware on Endpoints up to date and automating deployments of firmware packages
- Research and make recommendations on new software tools for automation and management of endpoint devices.
- Will be cross trained to perform backup job duties of the IT Operations staff.
- Coordinate with the IT Help Desk Manager on projects that can be assigned to the Help Desk Technicians.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Information Technology field working with Operating Systems of various kinds such as Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, ChromeOS, etc.
- Minimum 4 years’ of experience with the creation and distribution of software scripts and packages
- Ability to diagnose problems related to software installation
- Ability to build Windows Workstations from Bare Metal to production ready
- Experience with software imaging tools
- Experience managing Mobile Device Management tools
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, & DHCP
- Experience with managing and building Microsoft Group Policies
- Experience managing encryption services
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Automation experience is desired
- Management of Macs is desired
- Scripting experience is required
- Superior customer service skills for interacting with users
- Strong written and verbal skills and comfortable preparing documentation of team procedures and guidelines
- Detail orientation, and the ability to record, organize, and communicate detail
- Occasional travel may be required
- Ability to work flexible schedules when required.
- Ability to multitask and appropriately prioritize duties
- A self-starter who can excel in a team environment of a growing and dynamic enterprise.
