Job Summary/Basic FunctionThis position will be responsible to assist the BIM modeler as they coordinate with Facilities Management staff and Campus Construction and Planning project managers to: produce/maintain 3D building information models of campus buildings; create and develop BIM content; perform in-house design for small campus construction and remodel projects; manually measure and site-verify building spaces and compare with campus records and determine concurrency between site conditions and campus records; update existing BIMs to reflect changes found during site-verification or due to remodel/construction projects; update 2D CAD campus maps as changes occur to represent existing conditions. Additionally, other duties as assigned.As an hourly employee of WSU Facilities Management, a Tuition Reimbursement of $750 will available to those who qualify while the program is active.
Required QualificationsRead and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil drawings and specs.
Experience using AutoDesk desktop products.
Valid drivers license.
Preferred QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a Weber State student.
