Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSchedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies. Notifies Executive Housekeeper of maintenance repairs as necessary.Opens/ closes the house by assigning rooms to Room Attendants, then ensuring that all rooms are cleaned by the end of day.Perform various other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMinimum of High School educationMinimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to multi-taskAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingTeam playerAbility to exceed expectations of guestsKnowledge of cleanliness standards*The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
