We are seeking an experienced Azure/Azure Stack HCI Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with spearheading and guiding intricate projects, contributing to Intellectual Property (IP) development, and aiding in offer development. You'll also facilitate multi-disciplinary workshops, engage in strategic planning with Dell Account Teams and Customer project teams, and outline solution visions and scopes for customer initiatives. Additionally, you'll collaborate with Customers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment and integration challenges, while also providing mentorship to junior consultants and overseeing multiple projects. Please note that this role involves up to 50% domestic customer travel.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Playing a key role in crafting customer cloud and virtualization strategies and leading discussions on proposed architecture designs.
  • Acting as a project lead, ensuring high-quality delivery experiences for customers through meticulous documentation and exceptional communication skills.
  • Quickly grasping customers' strategic goals, business objectives, and technological challenges to guide them towards modern cloud and virtualization solutions.
  • Leading the assessment, design, and implementation of Azure/Azure Stack HCI environments.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for complex issues related to Azure/Azure Stack HCI environments, including conducting root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions, and delivering continuous support to maintain stability and performance.
  • Assisting organizations in establishing near-term goals and prioritizing milestones for their cloud and virtualization programs, considering various aspects such as people, processes, and technology.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of customer stakeholders responsible for shared Cloud, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Virtualization responsibilities.
Essential Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud services, specifically Azure IaaS, Azure Monitoring Services, Azure Backup Services, or Azure Site Recovery Services.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, PowerShell, and Virtual Networking.
  • Experience as an Azure Admin working with Azure AD, Azure MECM (formerly SCCM), Azure Update Management, and migrating workloads into Azure or Azure Stack HCI environments using Carbonite, Azure Migrate, or Commvault.
  • Knowledge of designing or implementing on-premises Private Clouds, including Azure Stack HCI Stretched Clustering or Azure Stack SDN.
  • Advanced knowledge of conducting architecture reviews for replatforming from one Hypervisor platform (e.g., VMware) to Azure Stack HCI.
  • Knowledge of repatriating workloads from one Hyperscaler to Azure Stack HCI.
  • Extensive working knowledge across five of the following cloud architecture layers: Business Management, Self-Service Portal, Orchestration, Containerization, Integration with Hyperscalers, Hyperconverged platforms, and Networking (e.g., Microsegmentation, Containerized Networking, Federation, IDS/IPs, Network Sandboxing, and Global Advanced Load Balancing).
Desirable Requirements:
  • Microsoft certifications preferred Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-303 and Z-304, or AZ305), any other Azure certifications would be an advantage.
  • Passion for driving change and transformation as a true "consultant."
