We are seeking an experienced Trust Officer to join our team managing client trusts and estates. As a trust officer, you will work directly with high net worth clients to manage assets placed in trust, administer estate plans, and provide personalized advice around wealth transfer plans.Responsibilities- Administer various types of trusts and estates- Provide clients clear explanations and guidance on trust accounts and estate planning strategies- Review and interpret trust agreements and wills- Determine trust beneficiaries and distributions; execute investment and payout decisions- Manage communications with beneficiaries, executors, attorneys and other related parties- Work closely with investment advisors on developing and implementing investment plans- Stay current on trust, tax, and probate laws and regulationRequirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; JD degree a plus- At least 5 years of experience in trust or estate administration- In-depth knowledge of fiduciary and trust activities- Strong analytical thinker with excellent communication skills- CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CTFA (Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor) preferredAs a trust officer with our firm, you will have the opportunity to work directly with affluent clients to preserve and continue their wealth transfer legacy plans.
