Minimum one to three (1-3) years inpatient surgery experience as a Physician Assistant.
Sr. Physician Assistant
Five (5) years inpatient surgery experience as a Physician Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a large academic medical center
Five years PA experience in Orthopedics or Breast Plastics Surgical Oncology.
Experience in a high patient volume Oncology practice/environment.
License/Certification
Active and current California Physician Assistant License (PA)
California driver's license (CDL) if required for position
Current national board certification by first day of work and maintain
Active and transferable DEA license to California and have evidence of transfer by 90th day of clinical practice. (It is the responsibility of the employee to transfer their DEA license to their new place of employment if from out of state, via online DEA portal and provide evidence of transfer).
Complete an AAPA recognized graduate master's degree program as a physician assistant.
Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing process by first clinical day.
Current AHA BLS.
UCSF Medical Center and Campus requires certain healthcare providers to be credentialed. In most cases this is done through its Office of Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) prior to the first working day.
