- You will perform and demonstrates proficiency in providing quality patient care during the peri-procedure stay including assessment of safety, comfort, physiological and psychological needs.
- You will work closely with Radiologists, technologist staff, ancillary departments and physicians, as care is planned and coordinated.
- Your work is primarily performed at ORMC within the Medical Imaging Department.
- Through the use of the nursing process, you will be responsible for providing up-to-date, timely and comprehensive nursing care.
- You will function as a patient advocate, provides direct patient care, and meets the physical and emotional needs of patients and families. Formulates and coordinates patient’s plan of care based on assessment.
- You will practice sterile technique and demonstrates skill in utilizing, trouble shooting, and maintaining monitoring equipment.
- Current Utah RN license in good standing.
- BSN preferred.
- Certification in Radiological Nursing encouraged.
- One (1) year of hospital clinical experience; Critical Care or ED background preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
