- Events Management: Project manage donor-facing aspects of BCNY’s special events.
- Produce deliverables such as meeting materials and reports, solicitations, sponsorship and guest communications.
- Track and facilitate sponsorship details, tickets, donations, guest list and seating.
- Oversee design and production of digital and print events collateral.
- Provide day of support to execute a seamless experience for attendees.
- Individual Giving: Support Managing Director of Development with the cultivation and stewardship of prospective and current donors.
- Conduct ongoing research on new prospects.
- Track and implement cultivation plans and solicitation strategies set by MDoD and CEO.
- Donor Communication: Streamline communications to keep donors informed about the impact of their support.
- Enhance existing communications in partnership with Development team.
- Develop and drive new and creative touch points including regular updates, newsletters, and personalized communications.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the development team, program staff, and senior leadership to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals and priorities. Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and cross-departmental initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4-year relevant workforce experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage donors effectively.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with donor management software and fundraising databases (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) preferred.
