This person will work closely with our incubated companies and the project teams within Foresite Labs, ensuring that projects stay on time and budgets are accurately tracked. You will work with internal cross functional stakeholders and our portfolio companies from planning through execution and delivery on a wide variety of early therapeutics projects.   • Deliver right-sized project strategy for multiple early therapeutics projects across a range of modalities from discovery to IND, including experimental planning and execution, contracting support, budget forecasting, and vendor management
  • Act as the point of contact for assigned companies and project teams, monitoring progress and maintaining alignment with the agreed goals, timelines, deliverables, and budgets
  • Support and optimize processes (templates, methodologies, and tracking tools) that facilitate scaling of collaborative activities and work products
  • Provide operational and scientific support with cross-functional team members to triage incoming requests, monitor activity, and identify emerging themes for needs across our early therapeutics projects
  • Identify and escalate risks to project timelines and assist in developing solutions to mitigate risks
  • Communicate project status updates within project teams and at the executive level, including Board Reviews for assigned companies
Qualifications
  • A Masters or equivalent in biology or a related field is required, PhD preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience working within and/or coordinating collaborative drug development research in the life sciences or therapeutics field is required, 5 or more preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail that draws upon prior experiences in the sciences to execute experimental plans in cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft & Google Suite
  • Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Smartsheet) and project budgets required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while executing across multiple projects
