Program Manager, Portfolio Engagements (Early Therapeutics)

- Deliver right-sized project strategy for multiple early therapeutics projects across a range of modalities from discovery to IND, including experimental planning and execution, contracting support, budget forecasting, and vendor management
- Act as the point of contact for assigned companies and project teams, monitoring progress and maintaining alignment with the agreed goals, timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Support and optimize processes (templates, methodologies, and tracking tools) that facilitate scaling of collaborative activities and work products
- Provide operational and scientific support with cross-functional team members to triage incoming requests, monitor activity, and identify emerging themes for needs across our early therapeutics projects
- Identify and escalate risks to project timelines and assist in developing solutions to mitigate risks
- Communicate project status updates within project teams and at the executive level, including Board Reviews for assigned companies
- A Masters or equivalent in biology or a related field is required, PhD preferred
- 3 or more years of experience working within and/or coordinating collaborative drug development research in the life sciences or therapeutics field is required, 5 or more preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail that draws upon prior experiences in the sciences to execute experimental plans in cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft & Google Suite
- Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Smartsheet) and project budgets required
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while executing across multiple projects
