- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Data Analytics, Information Management, Behavioral Science(s) or another related field
- Advanced skills with Excel, SPSS (or other statistical software package), Microsoft Power BI (or a related visualization package) and Qualtrics are required.
- Three years of experience in a Higher Education or institutional Research environment emphasizing data management and analysis is preferable.
- Ability to pay great attention to detail and strive for a high level of accuracy, including establishing procedures to manage time-sensitive requests without compromising the quality of the product delivered.
- An efficient, service-first when working with various disciplines and colleagues.
- The ability to lead projects in coordination with the Exec. Dir of IR & Effectiveness.
- Experience with traditional IR reporting, including IPEDS and the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Expertise with large data set analysis, Database Querying, SQL, and experience with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects during high-demand periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to present statistical and analytical information clearly and consistently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to judge multiple priorities and plan well to complete the tasks accurately.
- Manage and complete university data submissions for internal and external reporting, including recruiting surveys, IPEDS, and other government reporting
- Perform high-quality querying, data extraction, analysis, and reporting on assigned data topics.
- Create and maintain data visualizations in Power BI to aid in delivering and understanding data.
- Administer the Qualtrics product within Chatham, including the surveying tool and the Student Course Experience Survey project.
- Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information from colleagues and University leadership.
