- Provide electrical & controls support for the BOD (Bottom of Draw) and Mixing production processes.
- The position involves working with Process and Controls Engineering in the application of electrical and controls concepts to identify, design, and implement continuous improvement/cost reduction projects.
- Daily production support involving troubleshooting, problem solving, and working with the equipment/maintenance organization will be required.
- Actively participate in all phases of the project including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel, and technology transfer.
- Individual must be capable of executing project assignments, in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision.
- Required Education: EET(AAS)
- 3+ Years of Experience
- Methodical troubleshooting skills on dynamic automation and motion control equipment following basic scientific methods.
- Trained in electrical troubleshooting techniques at the component level, to include safe practices, testing equipment, and personal protection equipment.
- Capable of independently supporting daily manufacturing operations, while receiving and attending to minor projects on said equipment.
- PLC, HMI, Motion, and Industrial Robot – Programming and configuration knowledge
- Programming/configuration knowledge and experience – Rockwell, Mitsubishi, FANUC Robots, OSI Pi, iFIX(Proficy), Proface, and PILZ
- Controls/Electrical Experience in Manufacturing
- Broad skill set (first principal design to implementation/installation)
- Working knowledge of 480V and below 3 phase power systems including National Codes (NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc.)
- Knowledgeable of electrical design and machine standards (NFPA, NEC, ANSI RIA R15.06, etc.)
- Experience working in a union facility.
- 8 AM– 5 PM / 24-hour production support
