A prestigious business who is known for their superior customer service is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to manage their commercial properties. The Commercial Property Manager will work closely with the Management and Maintenance teams to ensure all daily operational, maintenance, administrative, financial responsibilities, client, tenant and community relations are managed according to Client’s property management standards.Summary of Essential Job Functions: Commercial Property Manager
  • Works as a part of the Property Management team to develop and deliver departmental goals, objectives and systems.
  • Select tenants through interviews, research and background checks.
  • Review and analyze; lease agreements, lease abstracts, lease amendments, parking agreements/amendments, service contracts & warranties, project quotes, feasibility studies, market surveys, building plans, appraisals, zoning reports, deed restrictions and city citations
  • Collect rent, pay invoices, analyze operating statements, provide reports and updates.
  • Prepare the annual budget and report on financial performance regularly.
  • Manage on-site staff, vendors and contractors.
  • Address tenant complaints, violations, and problems.
  • Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence, and files.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with tenants, brokers, contractors, vendors, etc.
  • Establish and maintain branding guidelines and branding updates company wide.
  • Welcomes new tenants and initiates good tenant relations. Coordinates tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Handles any special projects, reports and assignments as requested and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
  • Tech savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office, have superior email etiquette and excellent typing skills.
  • Experience with Yardi and comfortable assessing budgets and managing NOI.
  • Customer service oriented, great interpersonal skills, and be extremely organized.
  • Understanding of building construction, operations & maintenance, property environmental regulations, ADA compliance, fire and life safety systems, building codes, building inspection, building system types & function, and, having the ability to read building plans & surveys will be beneficial to your success.
  • Minimum of three (3) years comprehensive experience in commercial real estate property management.
