CNC Maintenance Technician- 1st Shift (Mon. - Fri., 8:00am - 4:00pm)

- Plans and implements assigned maintenance projects. This includes sourcing outside contractors and working with them
- Analyzes technical problems on site, and completes repairs and work orders, with specific reference to mechatronical systems
- Performs ramp up, set up and start procedures in order to prepare machines and equipment for operations

- Contributes to installation projects on site, and support accountable Industrial Engineers
- Supports maintenance of technical documentations of processes and equipment
- May advise junior staff technically
- Determines and sets alignment checking methods, evaluates data, performs and/or supervises required adjustments to plant equipment
- Diagnoses and corrects problems associated with equipment performance on complex controls, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and lubrication systems
- Documents, updates, and maintains mechatronical/calibration/maintenance and results records.
- Research parts and determines alternate part suggestions and submits parts and material requisitions, as needed
- Abides by all company policies regarding safety/health rules and regulations
- Adapts to various situations and adjusts to shifting priorities such as multi-tasking between projects
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical systems and machine controls with High School Diploma and must have completed an apprenticeship recognized by the state of North Carolina or equivalent OR a 2-year technical college education with min. three years' experience in the maintenance field
- Must have knowledge of machine alignment and geometry adjustment for more than 3-axes machines
- Must be able to perform laser alignment calibrations and comp adjustment for machine calibration service (i.e., Renishaw QC10, XL-80 or similar).
- Must be able to read blueprints, draw up new sketches and concepts, develop scope of work and make corrections to blueprints
- Knowledge of Siemens 840D, FANUC, and Allen-Bradley controls for troubleshooting
- Must possess and have demonstrated excellent leadership with both written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
