- Continuous operations coordination – cross-Directorate within Agency and with supported customers (define/develop requirements, strategy, and initiatives to counter and deter WMD, improvised threats, and threat networks; support the Joint Operations Center (JOC).
- Coordinate/maintain Agency Common Operating and Intelligence Pictures (COP/CIP).
- Planning/mission analysis, orders development (Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), mission execution tracking, and metrics management (mission execution effectiveness, performance).
- Perform detailed work with little guidance and to interact in a positive manner with other government and industry personnel and to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a changing environment and synthesize information and draft summaries and reports.
- Manage multiple projects, keep track of, or adjust, existing tasks while identifying new tasks and expectations as projects evolve.
- Perform technology integration, requirements management, an acquisition / procurement processes/capabilities.
- Maintain situational awareness of current and emerging UAS and C-UAS systems.
- Provide strategic planning support.
- Provide advice and recommendations on C-sUAS technical requirements.
- Provide planning, programming advice and analytical support.
- Able to conduct travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and articulate correspondence with a focus on quality control and attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills geared towards senior executives.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills that foster teamwork and create positive relationships with staff and principals.
- Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability, working with and briefing senior level DoD personnel; excellent verbal and written communication and organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of coordination requirements for the successful preparation and approval of reports, briefings, memoranda, and presentations.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, plan, problem solve, and adapt in a fast-paced and strategic environment under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of C-UAS systems capabilities (Drake, Ninja, Corian, Windtalker, Skyview, FS LIDS, Anduril, FSLIDS)
- Knowledge of UAS radio frequency (RF) modulation and demodulation methodologies (preferred).
- Familiar with and capable of accessing and analyzing CCMD operational plans to identify areas requiring C-UAS advisory support.
- Experience in drafting, initiating, amending, and accelerating the delivery of urgent threat solutions as requested by the CCMDs.
- Experience developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials, Military Commanders, and their staffs.
- Excellent writing, oral communication, and organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of one or more SQL variant, such as MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL
- Develop SQL queries to analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Experience using programing languages such as Python to collect, store, transform, and analyze data.
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik to develop automated dashboard to visualize and analyze large amounts of data.
- Experience using Geographic Information Systems such as ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro and Google Earth to analyze spatial and temporal data.
- Working knowledge of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
- Must be able to travel between Reston (Primary Duty Location), Pentagon, DTRA Headquarters (Ft. Belvoir) and other sites within the National Capital Region as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree (technical degree preferred) from an accredited college or university.
- 8 years' experience with US military (Air Defense, Air Space Control and Coordination, Counter UAS or Force Protection).
- Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability.
- Previous Military Experience as Operations, Plans, or Intelligence Officer; deployment experience preferred.
- Previous extensive experience developing, distributing, and presenting complex information to senior Government officials.
