- Identify sources of service/supply and successfully put together complex contracts to assure service/supply for Aramark.
- Provide ultimate oversight and accountability for the supplier relationships for the responsible categories. This includes:
- Establishing and monitoring supplier risk profiles
- Developing multi-year performance targets with suppliers and ensuring these targets are met
- Leveraging supplier investments to drive continuous improvement.
- Implementing best practices where applicable
- Understanding and managing the impact and outcomes of contract structures to optimize value to Aramark
- Manage and mentor the team to professionally source for services/goods that meet the business, employee, and client needs at the lowest total cost of ownership.
- Ensure the consistent use of best practice procurement methodologies across all functional areas.
- Identify and implement year over year productivity initiatives and minimize exposure to unforeseen price volatility.
- Provide expertise to all business partners including timely updates on market influences, trends, short and long-term outlook, and coverage recommendations.
- Ensure compliance and provide thought leadership related to managing risks.
- Conduct business with understanding and adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws, particularly those relating to anti-trust and pricing.
- Protect Aramark’s reputation through strict adherence to the highest ethical standards consistent with company policy.
- Ensure adherence to all Global Supply Chain & Group Purchasing Organization (GSC&GPO) related processes and procedures.
- At least 10 years of continuous procurement leadership experience across corporate categories for large scale, matrixed organizations.
- A depth of experience working closely with department and functional leaders; including the ability to provide them with sourcing knowledge and expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate the procurement team
- A strong corporate procurement mindset having directly identified, worked with and led negotiations on major transactions with suppliers and service providers
- Developed best practice procurement methodologies and global sourcing strategies which directly improved productivity and lowered costs.
- Accomplished in leading and working within a matrix environment, built strong cross-functional and cross-regional relationships.
- Must have strong coaching and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels; particularly at the senior and executive management level.
- Strong program and transformation management skills.
- Self-starter who has p results oriented.
